PAPERMAKING RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT

PULP: Paper Arts Workshop is undergoing a period of development over the next few months with the aim of moving to a fabulous new location and launch of new activities and projects.

Offering more space, firmly rooted within Glasgow's artist community, this new workshop allows an opportunity to develop artist residencies, volunteer placements and partnerships with other organisations.

Progress is being made to establish PULP as a formally constituted Social Enterprise working within the following mission statement:

' PULP: Paper Arts Workshop aims to be a thriving, sustainable artist and community resource which promotes recycling, learning and creativity and brings wellness and  personal growth through the art of hand papermaking.'

Detailed below are several ways to contribute to this dedicated space and ensure the facility can relocate to achieve it's full potential.   Many thanks, Alison Newman.

OPTION 1                                 'Win a Workshop'

By making a contribution of £8.50 to the fundraising activities for this development you have the oppotunity to 'WIN A WORKSHOP'. Your name will be placed in a draw to win either a WEEKEND WORKSHOP or ONE DAY INDIVIDUAL HIRE.   Great Fun...

OPTION 2                                  'Paper Lottery'

By making a contribution of £5.50 to the fundraising activities for this development you will have the opportunity to win a 'PAPER LOTTERY'. Your name will be placed in a draw to win a selection of quality handmade papers. Made at PULP, the 16 sheets measure 22" x 30", are a mixed selection of Cotton Rag, Denim Rag, Mixed Fibre and Decorative Inclusions to a value of approximately £60 (inc P+P).

OPTION 3                                   'Step by Step'

One of the first stages in relocating the workshop is to have non-slip flooring, so your donation will, quite literally, be laying solid foundations 'one square foot' at a time. By making a contribution of any amount small, medium or large your generosity will be supporting this project and can help make it happen :)
